Summit LNG to send Regasified LNG to Bangladesh Grid

The time charted vessel “Summit LNG” arrived at the Bay of Bengal off the coast of Bangladesh ahead of plan. The vessel is under a 15-year time chartered from Excerelate Energy and will carry liquified natural gas (LNG) from Qatar to Bangladesh.

Additionally, the Summit LNG carried a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) which will connect to a subsea pipeline to provide regasified LNG to the grid onshore.

Overall, Summit can process up to 500 million ft3 of LNG every day.
