Meyer Turku Shipyard to deliver LNG Powered Cruise Ship

Costa Cruises to launch the Costa Smeralda, the company’s first-ever LNG powered cruise ship, in October 2019. The 180,000 GT vessel had its float out at the Meyer Turku shipyard in the first quarter of 2019, marking the final stages of construction and outfitting before handover.

Meyer Turku has already successfully delivered LNG fueled ships, with the Costa Smeralda being the biggest yet.
